I am a methodology scholar concerned with social justice. In my work I integrate theory and practice to nuance and problematize methodological concepts such as validity. I engage in research with people rather than on people. I assume that knowledge is not neutral and that all action is ethical action. As someone with privilege in the world, I take seriously my responsibility to locate myself within the arrangements of oppression and power as aspects of teaching, learning and inquiry.
